Lazaro René Guitarist, percussionist, composer and singer; born in the city of the Havana, Cuba, in the "barrio los sitios", where the runba, the sun and the drums are the happiness of everyday. Participating in groups of popular music and shows in the cabaret "Tropicana Nightclub" with the conjunto folkloric of Alfonso Aldama. Special groups for international tourism, radio & television. jazz festival de Detroit, Chicago & Montreal, and tour in Europe & Singapour with the band of Eval Manigat and Queba, a Canadian band. Lazaro has performed with Sonny Greenwich, Vic Vogel, Don Alias, Paquito de Rivera (spectrum) Tiro Puentes (spectrum). Recordings with Nornand Bratwaite, Vic Vogel (the jazz band leader) Eval Manigat and karen Young (jazz singer). |
